Youth found half-burnt on Bhubaneswar Sikharchandi hill, dies

A youth was found battling for his life in a half-charred state on Sikharchandi hill in Bhubaneswar late on Wednesday night. 

According to sources, the youth identified as Abinash Pradhan, a resident of Balipada village in Nandankanan area, succumbed to the burn injuries while being shifted to a hospital. 

A motorcycle has also been recovered from the hill site. However, it is still not clear whether the youth was a victim of a murder bid or he attempted to end his own life. 

Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
