Youth found dead on NH-55 in Cuttack, probe launched

A youth was found dead alongside National Highway-55 near Nuntikiri Chhak in Choudwar of Cuttack on Wednesday morning.  

The mutilated body of Lokanath Biswal was found on the roadside in a pool of blood. Biswal, who hailed from OTM Durga Bazar area, was an auto-rickshaw driver.

As per family sources, Biswal did not return home last night. The family members later learnt that his auto-rickshaw overturned near Birupa barrage. They alleged that he was murdered. 

Meanwhile, Choudwar police along with a scientific team reached the spot and launched a probe.
