Woman records 14-year-old daughter’s private videos, leaks online to hide extra-marital affair

In a shocking incident, a married woman, along with her 24-year-old boyfriend, has been arrested in Pune for recording videos of her 14-year-old daughter and leaking them online to hide her extramarital affair.

Shockingly, the woman filmed her minor daughter while she was in private moments, such as bathing and changing her clothes. She then shared the recordings with close friends, relatives, and even posted on social media platforms.

Discovery and Allegations

The young girl, who is currently a student in Standard 8, became aware of her mother's alleged extramarital activity. This revelation reportedly prompted the girl to inform their house landlord about the affair. To divert attention from her affair, the woman shared her daughter’s private videos, informed Senior Inspector Shankar Salunke of the Bibvewadi police station.

Arrest and Investigation

She was helped by her boyfriend to circulate the girl’s videos. The friend’s active role in the distribution of these videos resulted in his arrest as well, the inspector added.

The story unfolded when the girl's aunt received one of the videos, thus triggering the formal complaint. Police traced the origins of the videos to the mother’s mobile device, confirmed by Sub-inspector Ashok Yevale.

Once the First Information Report (FIR) was filed, the mother evaded arrest by fleeing Pune, sparking a three-month pursuit by the police. Persistence from the Bibvewadi police eventually led to the apprehension of both the woman and her companion.

This case highlights significant concerns regarding privacy and the safety of minors in digital contexts, necessitating a considerable degree of vigilance from guardians and law enforcement alike.
