Continuing tough stand against corrupt and inefficient officials, the Odisha government on Thursday handed down compulsory retirement to three while another was dismissed from service on disciplinary grounds.

Among those given compulsory retirement is the Community Organiser of Sambalpur Municipal Corporation (formerly worked as executive officer of Jatani Municipality and Chhatrapur NAC) Lalita Kapoor. She faces two cases of siphoning off government funds and other corruption charges.
