Two minor girls were allegedly gang raped in Bhubaneswar on Monday night. The heinous crime came to the fore after their parents on Tuesday registered a complaint with the GRP.
According to the complaint, on Monday night, two miscreants abducted the minor girls from Patia Railway Station area to the railway overbridge. There, they tied them up with a rope and raped them for the whole night.
The victim girls were released on Tuesday morning. After reaching their homes, they narrated their ordeal before their parents.
After listening to everything, they took the matter up with the Childline.
Later, with the help of Childline officials, the mother of one of the survivors lodged a complaint with the GRP.
After registering a case, the GRP have launched a probe into the case.
