While the police are yet to make any breakthrough in the case, the distressed parents with the photo of their missing son have been staging a dharna in front of the police station, hoping their son would return soon.

They alleged their son has been kidnapped and the kidnappers are asking for Rs 3 lakh ransom to release their son.

“Yesterday at around 7 pm, we received a message from the suspected kidnappers saying our son is in their captivity. They demanded Rs 3 lakh to release our son. They have even threatened me with dire consequences if I reveal this before anyone. I have forwarded the message to the inspector in-charge (IIC) of the Maitri Vihar Police Station. But they are yet to act on it,” said Yogesh’s father.

“We have already covered half of the capital city searching for our son. The police are assuring us but they are yet to do anything to trace him. We don’t know who has kidnapped him. We want justice from the police,” said a visibly upset mother of Yogesh.
