OSSC question paper leak scam: Property of arrested Odisha teachers under police scanner

With the arrest of teachers Govind Tripathy and Sushant Sahu for their alleged involvement in the OSSC question paper leak scam, several details about them have started to emerge.

Govind Tripathy, a native of Belaguntha area in Ganjam district worked as a teacher at Sirsipanga Primary School in Kandhamal district. As per sources, Tripathy has accumulated massive assets over the short span of his service. Tripathy reportedly owns several SUVs and flats. He also used to run a garment shop in his native place and has been living a luxurious life with travelling to cities by air and staying at star hotels. There are discussions that he had been collecting money from job aspirants.

Similarly, Sushant Sahu, posted at Rathia Primary School under Dharmasala block, has a three-storey building in Jaraka area. In his case as well, it is suspected that he has accumulated assets by collecting money from job seekers.

Taking the property accumulated by the teachers into consideration, the Balasore Police has launched an investigation.
