A day after claiming to have solved the OSSC question paper leak case, Balasore SP Sagarika Nath on Friday shot off letters to the concerned departments seeking departmental proceedings against the mastermind, a Bihar native, and the two other accused from Odisha.

For action against the mastermind, who has been identified as Vishal Kumar Chaurasia, working in the Accountant General’s office in Patna, the SP has written a letter to the Bihar Accountant General for departmental proceedings. 

Similarly, for action against Govinda Tripathy and Sushant Sahu, she has written letters to Kandhamal and Jajpur DEOs, respectively.

The district’s top cop has also written a letter to the OSSC seeking action against the 88 candidates for their involvement in the deal. 

Notably, on July 23, the OSSC cancelled the Main Written Examination for JE (Civil) conducted on July 16, 2023, after Balasore SP had confirmed the question paper leak. The commission has also rescheduled the examination on September 3.
