Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly, Pradipta Naik on Tuesday wrote to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik demanding an investigation by the CBI to uncover the mystery behind the sudden disappearance of a lady teacher of Sunshine Public School, Mamita Meher and alleged sex racket at the school.
"The sordid saga of the sudden disappearance of Mamita Meher, while she was on the verge to explode a bombshell exposing the naked facts of the rampant sex racket doing rounds in the campus of the sacred institution has been a great shock for us all," Naik wrote.
"It Is crystal clear that some hostile persons who did not want her to come up with those allegations have succeeded in their motives as she went untraceable since October 8," he added.

Naik said Mamita was en route to her school on the fateful day when she was picked by Gobinda Sahu, president of Sunshine Public School and she went untraceable thereafter.
The BJP leader said that the parents of the lady teacher have brought serious allegation against Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra about the Minister's involvement in the sex racket during his stay at the school.
"Dibya Shankar Mishra was a regular visitor to the school and the allegations made by the parents are grave and serious, which needs to be investigated thoroughly," Naik said.
Stating about recovery of a body by police today and identification of belongings by the family of the lady teacher, Naik said it may lead to a series of discoveries and a transparent probe into the matter is highly solicited.
"Therefore I demand a CBI inquiry into the matter and the investigating agency may be handed over and to take up the aforementioned case of the mysterious disappearance of Mamita Meher and unearth the serious allegations levelled against the school and the involvement of the Minister in the alleged sex racket," Naiks said.
He also demanded resignation of the Minister on moral grounds stating that a thorough enquiry cannot be conducted if the Minister himself is at the charge of the Home Department as there will be every chance of conflict of interest.
