Odia TV actress death: Police to quiz deceased's boyfriend, ex-boyfriend

While the death of Odia television actress Rashmirekha Ojha still remained a mystery, the Commissionerate Police has expedited the investigation into the case to unravel the truth. 

The CP is going to interrogate the deceased's boyfriend Santosh Patra and ex-boyfriend Raja to elicit more information on their relationship and the reason behind her suspected suicide.

The move from the police came after Rashmirekha’s ex-boyfriend Raja’s name popped up after an audio clip of conversation between the TV actress and Santosh went viral on Monday.

Though it is unclear about how old the audio clip is, it is evident from the conversation that Santosh was not able to resist Raja, the third person.

In the audio clip, Rashmi was seemed to be annoyed with Santosh when the latter asked why Raja had blocked him. Rashmi said, why he had called him (Raja) and it was not required to create an unnecessary blunder. 

Moreover, Rashmi can be heard terming Raja a psycho in the audio and asking Santosh to stay away from him. 

Meanwhile, the deceased family had dubbed Santosh, who was living with Rashmi in a rented house, as the murderer of their daughter and demanded stringent action against him.

On the other hand, Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh has cleared that it is a clear case of suicide.

Notably, Rashmirekha’s body was found hanging in her rented house located at Gadasahi in Nayapalli area of the city on Sunday.

A suicide note was also recovered from the spot in which the actress had mentioned no one is responsible for her death.
