Medical college admission: Girl student loses 30 lakh to cheating in Odisha

The Infocity Police in Bhubaneswar on Saturday arrested two inter-state fraudsters on charges of duping a medical college aspirant of Rs 30 lakh.

According to sources, the two accused belonging to Patna in Bihar and Kolkata respectively had reportedly cheated a girl of Rs 30 lakh on promise of landing her a seat at the local private medical college in Bhubaneswar.

The police have also reportedly recovered Rs 10 lakh from the accused duo after the arrest. This copy will be updated as and when details come.
