Maoists torch bus en-route to Hyderabad from Odisha's Malkangiri

Maoists reportedly torched a bus which was on its way to Hyderbad from Odisha's Malkangiri at Kutur in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh on Sunday night. All the passengers travelling in the ill-fated bus are reportedly safe.  

The incident occurred during the hours when the Dandakaranya Division of the Maoist organisation was observing a bandh.  

According to reports, with 40 to 50 passengers on board, the bus was heading from Malkangiri to Hyderabad on Sunday night.  At Kutur, the Ultras stopped the bus and set the bus ablaze after asking the passengers to get down.

Being informed about the incident police rushed to the spot and launched an investigation.
