Man Bludgeoned To Death In Bhubaneswar, One Detained

In a gory incident, a man was reportedly stoned to death near the Rajmahal-Sisu Bhawan road in Bhubaneswar on Saturday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Trinath while the accused Narayan Sahoo is a resident of Laxmipur in Koraput district.

The Capital Police has detained Sahoo in connection with the crime. He is presently being questioned. 

As per reports, both Trinath and Sahoo used to work as labourers in Bhubaneswar. On the fateful day, the duo was sitting near the the Rajmahal-Sisu Bhawan road when a heated argument broke between them over some issue.

Later, in the heat of the moment, Sahoo bludgeoned Trinath with a cement brick. Trinath reportedly died on the spot.
