ITR honey trap case: Accused DRDO officer sent to 4-day police remand

Currently, the police are searching his house and property and tracing people who had links with him. Further probe is on to learn if anyone is aware of the honey-trap episode.

A senior official of the Integrated Test Range (ITR) of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in Chandipur, who was arrested on Friday for allegedly sharing sensitive information with a Pakistani agent, was sent to four-day police remand on Saturday.

Baburam Dey (57), who worked as a senior technical officer at ITR Chandipur, was arrested on the charges of leaking confidential information to a Pakistani spy. According to police, Dey was honey-trapped by the Pakistani agent with nude videos.
