In a shocking incident, a food delivery boy was arrested for allegedly raping a doctor in Odisha's Angul district.
The arrested accused has been identified as Sukant Behera who happens to be the son of a hotel owner in the district.
Behera allegedly raped a woman doctor posted at the Chhendipada community health centre (CHC) on June 28.
As per reports, the survivor had ordered food from the hotel on Monday night. The accused had gone to deliver the food at the doctor’s official quarters. After finding her alone in the house, he allegedly raped her, police said.

Police on Wednesday detained the accused based on the compliant of the survivor and also took him to the spot for further investigation before putting him under arrest.
Meanwhile, the Odisha Medical Services Association (OMSA) has strongly condemned the incident and demanded protection of doctors and medical staff.
OMCA general secretary Biswajit Samal said, "We want full protection, especially inside the (medical) campus so that no outsider could enter the campus."
He further demanded exemplary punishment for the accused involved in the heinous crime.
