Blatant violation of the night curfew restrictions and Covid-19 guidelines has been reported from Bhubaneswar where a group of youngsters were found celebrating a birthday party at Delta square last night.
Twin City Police Commissioner, Soumendra Priyadarshi spotted the group which was busy in the birthday bash on the main road parking their vehicles.
The local Khandagiri police swung into action after getting information about the incident spotted during the Police Commissioner’s night patrol.
Sources said that the Khandagiri police were clueless about such night curfew violations within its jurisdiction. On seeing the police team, the youths fled the spot leaving behind their two-wheelers on the road.
The Khandagiri Police later seized around 12 two wheelers from the spot and further investigation is underway.
