Covid-19 Case Rise In Bhubaneswar Concerning, Khorda In Yellow Zone: Top Odisha Health Official

Odisha reported 521 new Covid-19 cases with 65 infections below 18 years of age in the last 24 hours. Of the new cases, 304 are from quarantine, while 217 are local cases.

The rise in Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar is a matter of concern, said the Director of Odisha Health Services, Bijay Mohapatra, on Thursday.

Speaking to media, Mohapatra said, "Though the Covid-19 infection graph is fluctuating in the State, but the situation is under control. However, the present Covid-19 situation in Bhubaneswar is a matter of concern as the State Capital alone accounts 40 to 48 percent of the State's daily infections."
