AAI Issues Advisory as Fog Disrupts Flights Across North India Photograph: (ANI)
The Airports Authority of India has issued an advisory on Sunday, warning of delays in flight schedules triggered by dense fog conditions in parts of Northern India.
The advisory instructs passengers to check flight updates with their respective airlines to allow extra time for travel to airports and completion of necessary formalities.
"Fog conditions in parts of Northern India are affecting visibility and may lead to delays or changes in flight operations at select airports. Passengers are advised to check flight updates with their airlines through official channels and allow extra time for airport travel and formalities," AAI's advisory read.
The AAI has also deployed passenger assistance teams for ground support at affected airports.
Meanwhile, the Delhi airport has released its travel advisory at 8 am earlier today, confirming smooth operations at Indira Gandhi International Airport.
According to an advisory issued by the airport, flight operations at Delhi Airport are running smoothly. Passengers have been advised to stay in touch with their respective airlines for the latest updates on flight schedules and any operational changes. The airport authority also wished passengers a pleasant and hassle-free journey.
