The historic Bali Yatra on the banks of the Mahanadi river in the Millenium City of Cuttack city is expected to witness a huge rush on Thursday evening as the 10-day-long extravaganza will come to an end today.
The Asia’s largest trade fair was supposed to culminate on November 16. However, the Odisha Government extended it for a Day.
With around 1,400 stalls and more than 2,000 traders from across the country at the Bali Yatra ground this year, visitors are expected to throng on the last day to grab the available items at a cheap price.
Usually, traders reduce the price of items on the last day to attract more buyers before putting their shutters down.
Meanwhile, traders are hopeful of decent business on the last day of the trade fair.
Apart from shopping, visitors have also the last chance to satisfy their taste buds with mouth-watering delicacies from across the country at the Bali Yatra.
Meanwhile, all necessary security arrangements have been put in place to ensure the last day of the historic event ends well.
This year’s Bali Yatra holds major significance as it was organised after a gap of two years due to COVID-19 restrictions.
