Veteran actor Annu Kapoor, known for his straightforward personality, has landed in controversy after making a remark about actress Tamannaah Bhatia. During a recent interview, Kapoor praised the actress’ “milky body” while referring to her hit dance number ‘Aaj Ki Raat’. During his recent appearance on Shubhankar Mishra’s YouTube channel, Annu Kapoor was shown a clip of Tamannaah Bhatia’s popular track ‘Aaj Ki Raat’. When asked about the song, Kapoor responded, “Mashallah kya dudhiya badan hai (Oh my god, what a milky body she has).”

The remark immediately went viral, drawing widespread criticism from social media users who called it disrespectful and objectifying.

Kapoor’s Comments on Kids

Watching Tamannaah’s Song During the same chat, the host mentioned how Tamannaah had once shared that mothers told her their toddlers eat only while watching ‘Aaj Ki Raat’. Kapoor reacted humorously but controversially, saying, “Kitne umar ke baache so jaate hain… 70 saal ke umar ka bhi bachcha ho sakta hai na…” (Kids of which age sleep...70-year-old can also be a child)

Continuing, Kapoor said, “Behen, apne gaane se, apne shareer se, apne dudhiya chehre se humare bacchun ko sulati hain… Bahut achi baat hai.” (Sister helps children sleep peacefully with her songs, body and milky face, it's a very good thing)

Further, he added that it's good for the country, and wished her the best for her future endeavours.

Internet Slams Kapoor’s Remarks

After the clip surfaced online, social media erupted in criticism. Users called Kapoor’s comments “cheap, disrespectful, and derogatory.”

One user wrote, “This is a derogatory comment. She didn’t mean it that way — small kids don’t think like you ghatiya log do.” (sic)
