Veteran actor Dharmendra admitted to hospital; family shares health update

Bollywood legend Dharmendra, who will soon celebrate his 90th birthday, has been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, sparking concern among fans after news of his hospitalisation surfaced online. However, close family sources have confirmed that the beloved actor is in good health and has only been admitted for routine medical check-ups.

“Dharmendra is absolutely fine,” a source revealed. “He often visits the hospital for regular health evaluations. This time, he decided to stay back for a few days to complete all the tests together rather than traveling back and forth every day.”

Married to actor-politician Hema Malini, Dharmendra continues to remain active and positive. The actor, who underwent a successful cataract surgery in April, was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024) alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. He will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s ‘Ikkis’, a war drama based on Param Vir Chakra recipient Arun Khetarpal, set for release in December.
