VD14: A Period Epic in the Making
Helmed by director Rahul Sankrityan and backed by Mythri Movie Makers, VD14 casts Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role. While most of the cast remains under wraps, strong buzz suggests Arnold might play a British officer and possibly the antagonist. Rumours also hint that Rashmika Mandanna may come on board, though nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
A Story Rooted in History
Set between 1854 and 1878, the film unfolds during the peak of British colonial rule in India and draws from true historical events. This marks Vijay’s second collaboration with Rahul after Taxiwaala (2018).
