Actor Tara Sutaria recently found herself at the centre of social media chatter after a video from singer AP Dhillon’s Mumbai concert went viral. Tara attended the show with her boyfriend, Veer Pahariya, but a clip showing her onstage interaction with AP Dhillon quickly led to speculation online.

In the viral video, AP Dhillon invited Tara on stage during his performance. Dressed in a black outfit, Tara joined him as the two shared a friendly hug, a brief cheek kiss, and danced together to his hit tracks. While the moment appeared celebratory, some social media users claimed that Veer looked “uncomfortable” watching from the audience, fuelling gossip and misleading narratives.

Tara Sutaria Responds With a Strong Message

Amid the online buzz, Tara chose to address the situation directly on Instagram. Sharing a video from the concert, she posted a caption that many interpreted as a clear response to the rumours.

“Loud and proud and in it together!!! @apdhillon FAV!!! What a night! Thank you Mumbai for SO much love for our song and here’s to more music and memories together,” she wrote.

She added a pointed postscript, stating that “false narratives, clever editing and paid PR campaigns” would not shake her. Tara concluded by saying that love and truth always win, and that the “joke’s on the bullies.”

Veer Pahariya Calls Out ‘Misleading’ Clips

Veer Pahariya also reacted to the speculation, clarifying that the viral reaction footage of him was taken out of context. He commented that the clip showing his reaction was from a completely different song and not from the moment Tara performed on stage. His response further highlighted how selective editing contributed to the controversy.

Celebrities and Fans Rally in Support

Tara’s post received strong support from celebrities and fans alike. Disha Patani commented, “Go girl,” while AP Dhillon himself called Tara a “Queen.” Fans praised her for addressing the issue confidently and standing her ground.

This wasn’t Tara’s first appearance at an AP Dhillon concert. She had earlier attended his Pune show as well. The duo also collaborated on the music video Thodi Si Daaru, released earlier this year.
