Actor and model Sherlyn Chopra during an interview with a news channel today made some shocking claims regarding the drug nexus between Bollywood and cricketers. She said that she saw Bollywood star wives and cricketers snorting cocaine in the washroom at one of the KKR parties.
In her detailed narration, the former Bigg Boss contestant said, "I once went to Kolkata to watch a KKR match, after the game I was invited to an after-party, which was attended by all popular cricketers and their wives. I was enjoying a lot at the party."
Sherlyn Chopra further said, "However, I got tired after dancing and went to the washroom, and the scene I saw there was beyond shocking, all these star-wives were snorting cocaine in the ladies' washroom area, they smiled at me and I smiled back. I thought I am at a wrong place and came outside, the party was going on in full swing and such drug parties go on one after other”
Sherlyn Is Willing To Help NCB If They Summon Her
The actress did not name any cricketer. However, she is ready to help NCB in tracking down this nexus between Bollywood and cricketers. She is waiting for NCB to summon her for the same. KKR is an IPL franchise that belongs to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. A few years ago rumors about Gauri Khan's drug addiction went adrift.
The rumors started after a news source reported that the Berlin airport authorities held Gauri Khan for carrying marijuana. However, since the quantity was very small and only for self-use, they released her. But there has been no official confirmation by the Berlin airport officials regarding the same.
Bollywood and addiction go hand-in-hand. From Manisha Koirala, Sanjay Dutt to Ranbir Kapoor, and Yo Yo Honey Singh everyone at one point in time battled alcoholism and drug addiction. However, the police never investigated this angle.
