Ranbir Kapoor’s Finsta Account!

On Wednesday, during the launch of luxury developer DAMAC’s latest project - DAMAC Islands 2 in Dubai - Ranbir appeared alongside his wife, Alia Bhatt. At the event, he candidly revealed details about his unofficial Instagram presence and even confessed that Alia isn’t allowed to follow him there.

Ranbir Kapoor Talks About His Unofficial Instagram Account

When asked if he’s on Instagram, Ranbir admitted, "I'm not officially on Instagram. I have a finsta account. There are such amazing people in the world who do such amazing, inspirational stuff. So you do wanna follow them. But because I'm an actor, I didn't want to officially be on Instagram."

He further explained his perspective, saying, "Then I've a responsibility to really show myself off to the world, and I felt that I already have a medium, which is acting, in movies, that's enough for me to show myself off to the world."

Why Ranbir Prefers to Stay Away from Official Social Media?

Ranbir acknowledged that the question about his absence from social media is one he’s been asked repeatedly.

He quipped, "I have been asked this question so many times and I always have a different answer, which may not be the truth. But I have to come up with different answers because otherwise I'll seem boring, as it's been 10 years and I'm always asked this question."

Alia Bhatt Reveals Why She Can’t Follow Ranbir’s Secret Account

During the same event, Ranbir mentioned creating an Instagram Reel with his daughter, Raha, exclusively for his finsta - one that has no followers at all. Alia Bhatt humorously chimed in, "He wouldn't even let me follow him."

Ranbir elaborated, "If she follows me, then the world would get to know."

Adding to the fun, Alia revealed, "He says, 'If you follow me, everyone will follow me. So I'm peeking into his home. He's got like all of two Reels on his finsta account that only he and two people will see."
