Overwhelmed with emotion: Japanese fan cries after Allu Arjun personally greets her in Tokyo

Actor Allu Arjun is currently in Tokyo, Japan, along with his wife Allu Sneha Reddy and their children, Ayaan and Arha. While the family is spending quality time together, the trip is also a professional one, as the actor is in Japan to promote Pushpa 2: The Rule, which released in the country on January 16. 

During a fan interaction, a heartfelt moment unfolded when a Japanese fan became emotional after Arjun personally greeted her.

Japanese Fan Breaks Down During Fan Meet

At a fan meet hosted in Japan, Instagram influencers Kanchan and Prudhvi shared videos capturing Arjun warmly interacting with fans. 

In one clip, the actor is seen smiling and greeting people when he suddenly appeared to recognise a Japanese fan in the crowd. Arjun walked up to her, shook her hand, and exchanged a few words. Overwhelmed by the interaction, the fan began sobbing and continued to cry even after the moment passed. Her friend and the influencers were seen comforting her, making the moment one of the most talked-about highlights from the event.

Sneha Reddy Shares Family Moments from Tokyo

Allu Sneha Reddy has been actively sharing glimpses from the family’s Japan trip on Instagram. The family flew out of Hyderabad ahead of Sankranthi and has been in Japan for about a week. Arjun also posted a picture from Tokyo’s iconic Sensō-ji Buddhist temple, showing him and Sneha posing with Ayaan and Arha in winter wear.

Pushpa 2 Box Office Performance in Japan

Released in India on December 4, 2024, Pushpa 2: The Rule received a strong response and emerged as a massive global success, collecting ₹1871 crore worldwide. It is currently the second-highest-grossing Indian film after Dangal. 

However, according to Sacnilk, the film saw a surprisingly low opening in Japan, recording only 886 admissions. This stood in sharp contrast to RRR and Saaho, which recorded 8230 and 6510 admissions respectively on their opening days in Japan.
