According to a report by Pinkvilla, there is buzz that suggests that the second part has begun shooting this year. It is suggested that both Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan are shooting together on a set in Shankarpally. The present shooting schedule does not include Prabhas. The scenes being filmed now are without his character. Prabhas is expected to join the sets on a later schedule.

Recent buzz suggests that makers might be locking Sai Pallavi to take Sumathi’s role for the next installement which was played by Deepika Padukone earlier.
