Hema Malini shares emotional update on Dharmendra's health

Legendary actor Dharmendra, 89, has been discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday morning, following a brief stay for routine medical tests. His family and doctor confirmed that the veteran will continue his recovery at home under professional medical supervision. The family also released a statement addressing growing public concern, requesting privacy and assuring fans that Dharmendra is “doing well.”

The news comes amid a surge of speculation regarding his health, which prompted well-wishers and colleagues from the film industry to extend prayers and support to the Deol family. 

Hema Malini Opens Up About Difficult Days

Speaking to film journalist Subhash K. Jha, Dharmendra’s wife and veteran actress Hema Malini admitted that the last few days had taken a toll on her emotionally.

“It has not been an easy time for me,” she shared, highlighting the emotional strain the family faced during the actor’s hospitalisation. 

“We Are Relieved He Is Back Home”

Expressing her relief, Hema further added, “Dharamji’s health is a matter of great concern for us. His children are sleepless. I can’t afford to be weak, too many responsibilities. But yes, I am happy he’s back home. We are relieved he is out of hospital. He needs to be among the people he loves. Baki toh sab oopar wale ke haath mein hai (Everything else is in the hands of the Almighty). Please pray for us.”

As Dharmendra recuperates surrounded by his loved ones, fans continue to pour in heartfelt wishes for the beloved actor’s speedy recovery.

Sunny Deol Lost Cool

Earlier today, Sunny Deol lost his cool at paparazzi outside his Mumbai home as they crowded around while his father Dharmendra continues to recover from a recent health scare. Visibly emotional, Sunny scolded the photographers, saying, “Sharm aani chahiye... aapke ghar mein maa-baap nahi hai?”
