Reddit Criticism and Remake Claims

While the first look generated excitement, it also sparked criticism online. A section of Reddit users alleged that the poster closely resembles that of the Thai romance drama One Day, claiming the visual design and even the title were directly adapted. Some comments questioned the lack of originality, while others took jabs at the production house’s reputation for remakes.

Ek Din is reportedly an official remake of One Day, directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun and starring Chantavit Dhanasevi and Nittha Jirayungyurn. The story revolves around a man who wishes to spend just one day with the woman he loves—only for that wish to unexpectedly come true.
