Putting months of rumours to rest, the makers of Dhurandhar have finally unveiled the explosive teaser of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge. Released on Tuesday as previously hinted, the drop not only heightened anticipation but also cleared the air about the film’s long-discussed release timeline.

Director Aditya Dhar took to social media to share the teaser, writing, "Yeh Naya Hindustan hai Yeh ghar mein ghusega bhi Aur maarega bhi. Dhurandhar: The Revenge Teaser Out Now." (sic)

Release Date Locked

Alongside the teaser, Dhar confirmed the theatrical rollout, reaffirming the previously scheduled date. He added, "#DhurandharTheRevenge Releasing In Cinemas Worldwide on 19th March 2026 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam." (sic)

Akshaye Khanna’s Return as Rehman Dakait

Earlier reports suggest that Akshaye Khanna will reprise his role as the enigmatic Rehman Dakait through pivotal flashback segments. His backstory reportedly forms an emotional spine for the sequel, offering deeper context to the narrative’s present conflict.

Interestingly, the actor may not need to return for fresh shoots. His portions were completed during earlier schedules and seamlessly integrated into the storyline, meaning no additional filming is planned for now.
