Akanksha Chamola shuts down marriage rumours, says her cryptic post had nothing to do with Gaurav Khanna

Speculation around Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna and his wife Akanksha Chamola’s marriage recently took over social media after Akanksha shared a cryptic Instagram post. However, the actor has now firmly dismissed all rumours, making it clear that there is absolutely no trouble in their nine-year-long marriage.

“There Is Absolutely No Trouble in Our Marriage”

In an interview with Times of India, Akanksha Chamola addressed the ongoing rumours and clarified that her post had nothing to do with Gaurav Khanna. She explained that she does not discuss personal matters publicly and that the post was meant to promote her upcoming series.

Akanksha stated that while the post was open to interpretation, people unnecessarily linked it to her marriage, blowing the situation out of proportion. She also reacted to online trolling that connected the post to Gaurav’s desire to become a father and her decision not to pursue motherhood, calling the assumptions baseless.

On Trolling and Her Stand on Motherhood

Reacting to the judgement she faced online, Akanksha laughed it off, calling herself “the troll queen at the moment.” She reiterated that she has always been honest about her views on motherhood and does not see herself choosing it.

Akanksha added that Gaurav is more guarded about speaking on the topic as he wants to protect her image. Acknowledging their age difference, she said her husband is mature enough to understand her perspective and fully respects her personal choices, which she believes need no justification.

Not Chasing Limelight After Bigg Boss 19 Win

Akanksha also addressed claims that she is enjoying the spotlight after Gaurav’s Bigg Boss victory. She clarified that if attention was her goal, she could have sought it during the show’s family week. While she admitted to increased visibility, she stressed that she is not chasing fame.

Speaking about attending events and the recent Dubai success bash with Gaurav, Akanksha said relationships are about support, not competition. She dismissed any talk of insecurity, stating that she is proud of Gaurav’s success and happy to stand by his side.

What Was the Cryptic Post About?

For context, Akanksha’s black-and-white Instagram post spoke about heartbreak and emotional sacrifice, with the line: “Jis rishte ki buniyaad main sirf zarooratein ho, wahan dil hamesha qurbaan hota hai.” The caption read, “Just when we thought we were ready, we weren’t.” She has now clarified it was not related to her marriage at all.
