Sambalpur: A youth received critical injuries after he was shot at in Rengali area of Sambalpur district on Friday. The injured, Amar Barik, was trying to resolve a dispute between two persons when he was attacked.
After receiving bullet injuries in his left thigh, he was admitted to VIMSAR Hospital in Burla for treatment.
As per reports, Barik had jumped in to resolve dispute between Jay Kishore and Dipak Nayak over some issues when one Pinku Chauhan, reportedly Jay’s friend opened fire at Barik injuring his left thigh.
While police is yet to comment on the matter, further details are awaited.
