Woman hacked to death by husband

Koraput: A woman was hacked to death by her husband at Champi village under Laxmipur block in Koraput district here on Sunday.

Sources said the accused, who is allegedly a drunkard, killed her wife with an axe over family dispute.

Getting information, police sent the dead body for post-mortem and detained the accused husband.

Investigation is on into the matter, police said.
