Throat-Slit Body of Youth Found In Odisha

Jharsuguda: Blood-stained body of a youth was recovered from Pudamal village in the district on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Gunasagar Dash of the village.

As per reports, the body was found by some villagers today morning in a pool of blood with its throat slit. After spotting the dead body, the villagers informed the local police.

While the reason behind this 'murder' is yet to be ascertained, forensic team has reportedly reached the spot for further investigation.

Ashwini Mohanty, SP, Jharsuguda said, "A case has been registered at the Jharsuguda Police Station. The body was found with multiple stab injuries and cut marks on thorat. Our investigation is underway to collect evidence."
