Three miscreants arrested for robbing youth in Berhampur

Berhampur: The Gosani Nuagaon Police has arrested three persons for robbing a youth near Khajuria flyover in Berhampur. While the incident happened on the night of February 17, the miscreants were arrested yesterday. The three accused persons have been identified as Sunil Nahaka, Balaram Pradhan and Kalia Sethi of Khajuria area.

According to reports, the three miscreants had intercepted a youth of Lanjipalli area near Khajuria flyover on the night of February 17 and attacked him with sharp weapons. Following the attack, the miscreants robbed the youth of his gold chain and cash. After a case was registered, police arrested the miscreants yesterday.

The police seized a sharp weapon, four mobiles and a bike from the miscreants and have forwarded them to the court, sources added.

Gosani Nuagaon Police Station IIC, Kulamani Sethi said "We arrested the three miscreants yesterday and seized cash, mobile, a sharp weapon and a bike used by them."
