Sundergarh: With no let up in cases of sexual harassment of minor girls in the State, a police complaint was lodged against the headmaster of a residential school on charges of sexually abusing girl students in Bargaon area of Sundergarh district today.
As per reports, police detained the headmaster of the residential school operated by the SC & ST Development department in Bargaon after registering a case. Parents of the girl students had lodged complaint against the headmaster.
“My daughter said that the headmaster misbehaved with her. Other girls of the school have also levelled similar allegations. Following this, all the parents lodged a police complaint,” said a guardian.
Rajgangpur Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Bijaya Kumar Nanda said investigation is underway.
