Bolangir: Miscreants looted ornaments and cash from a Shiva temple at Khujenpali under Sadar police limits in Bolangir district.
According to sources, the miscreants first looted ornaments and cash from donation boxes kept inside Dhabaleswar Temple and then robbed valuable items from a Durga Temple located in the same premises by breaking its door.
As per reports, the matter came to light after priests of the temple found locks of donation boxes broken today morning. The estimated value of the looted items and cash from the temple has not been ascertained yet.
Inspector-in-Charge of Sadar police station along with a scientific team rushed to the spot after getting information and started an investigation based on the CCTV footage. More details awaited.
