Man attacks elder brother over land dispute in Balasore

Balasore: A man allegedly attacked his elder brother with a sharp weapon over land dispute at Ratina village under Khaira police limits in Balasore district last night.

The injured, Bidhyadhar Nayak who has sustained multiple injuries has been admitted to Khaira government hospital in critical condition.

As per reports, both Bidyadhar and his younger brother Karunakar entered into a heated exchange over ownership of a land yesterday. Later, Karunakar attacked his brother with a sharp weapon. Following the incident, locals rescued Bidyadhar and shifted him to the hospital.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case while the accused is absconding.
