Sambalpur: In what could possibly be just the tip of the iceberg, Sambalpur Police on Friday arrested four cyber criminals including two persons from Bihar. According to reports, the gang used to install skimmer machines at ATMs and withdraw money after acquiring the PINs of card users.
Addressing a presser, Sambalpur SP Kanwar Vishal Singh informed that two skimmer machines, 30 cloned ATM cards, four mobile phones, laptop and a four wheeler have been recovered from the possession of the four accused.
However, the mastermind of the inter-State criminal gang managed to escape.
“We have constituted four special teams to nab the mastermind. Our investigation is on as we suspect the involvement of more persons,” said Singh.
