Businessman looted of Rs 1.5 lakh in Bhadrak

Bhadrak: Three unidentified miscreants looted Rs 1.5 lakh cash from a businessman after attacking him with a sharp weapon at DRDA square in the district on Tuesday night.

As per reports, the businessman was returning home when the miscreants waylaid him and attacked with sharp weapon. When he fell down, the miscreants snatched the cash from him and fled the spot.

The businessman has received severe injuries in the body and has been admitted to the hospital, sources said.

On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and launched an investigation into the incident.
