Bike theft racket busted, 10 arrested

Jharsuguda: Belpahar police busted a bike theft racket and arrested 10 persons, including three gang members and seven persons who purchased the bikes here in the district on Monday.

The gang reportedly operated in the areas under Jharsuguda, Brajanagar and Belpahar.

According to reports, a thief was caught and handed over to police by a bike owner when the former was trying to steal the bike using duplicate key near Biplab medical store in Gumadera area in the district.

Police officials busted the entire bike theft racket after interrogating the thief.
