Balasore: It seems there is no end to incidents of sexual violence against girl children in Odisha as another minor girl was allegedly raped in Jaleswar area of Balasore district. The matter came to light after the grandfather of the 4-year-old girl lodged a complaint at Singla Police Station.
In the complaint, it has been alleged that a neighbour committed the crime after entering the house where the minor girl was present all alone. Police have reportedly launched an investigation based on the complaint.
Earlier this month, police had nabbed two minor boys on charges of gang raping a minor girl on July 31 in Tangarpali area of Rourkela.
According to reports, the survivor had gone to the local market for shopping when three boys in an SUV asked her to accompany them for a ride. Later, the trio took the girl to an isolated place and allegedly gang raped her.
