Mayurbhanj: Three people were reportedly killed and another was injured after a speeding dumper truck hit two motorcyclists and bicyclist at Hatibandha Chhak in Udala-Baripada road of Mayurbhanj district on Friday.
The incident occurred when the driver of dumper lost control after a collision with a tractor and hit three persons. The deceased have been identified as Sangram Keshari Behera, Bhopal Baskey and Subhasmita Behera.
Subhasmita was working as additional Revenue Inspector at Dukura area and was travelling on her scooter when she was crushed under the speeding wheels of the dumper.
Meanwhile, police have seized the dumper while the driver is absconding after the incident.
