Gym trainer found dead, family alleges foul play

Bhubaneswar: A gym trainer was found dead under mysterious condition in Sarakantara area here on Sunday late night. The deceased identified as Jyotiranjan Baliarsingh of Dumduma area was working in a city based gym.

Family members of Jyotiranjan alleged that he was beaten to death by some miscreants.

“He had gone to attend a feast with two of his friends - Chintu and Santa. While returning from the feast, a few youths of Bahadurpur area attacked him leading to his death,” alleged Jyotiranjan’s uncle Laxmidhar Sahu.

Though the exact reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained, the post-mortem reports will reveal more information, police sources said.
