The ‘NEP SAARTHI- Student Ambassador for Academic Reforms in Transforming Higher Education in India’ is an initiative to involve students in the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
UGC stated that some individuals/ organisations are offering online programmes with acronyms/ abbreviated forms which are similar to the higher education system’s recognised degree programmes.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG) concluded successfully on March 28, as planned. On Friday, UGC Chairman Professor M. Jagadesh Kumar told IANS that this year, 462,603 examinees appeared for the test, and around 950 experts and 200 translators prepared question papers for it.
In addition, HEIs conduct their entrance tests for admission to Ph.D. programmes, requiring the students to write multiple entrance tests.
The NEP 2020 has also envisioned the provisions for extensive use of technology in teaching and learning, removing language barriers, increasing access for Divyang students.

As per the UGC, the GO4Youth Olympiad is a distinctive interdisciplinary programme tailored for students aged 18-25 years in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across India.
