Bhubaneswar is the capital of Odisha .It is the biggest city and the main power corridor of Odisha. The city is famous for its ancient rich heritage especially its historic monumental temples. It is popularly known as the temple city. Because many temples built from sandstone are dotted around Bindu Sagar Lake in the old city, including the 11th-century Hindu Lingaraja Temple.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, MP CM Mohan Yadav, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and party’s National Vice President Baijayant Panda among other prominent leaders were included in the list.

The BJD has also dropped sitting MLA Sunanda Das from the Bari Assembly seat. Party has given ticket to Biswaranjan Jena to contest this time.

While releasing the party’s ‘Sankalp Patra’, the top leaders of BJP including Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier stated that focus has been given on women, youth, farmers and poor in the next five years.
The bank manager in her complaint alleged that Rs 9,56,76,000 were illegally transferred through four cheques to bank accounts of various companies including PT Constructions and Suppliers and SK Enterprises. The suspected transactions were carried out between April 10 and 18.

Baripada was followed by Nuapada which recorded 44 degrees, as per IMD reports. People in twin cities – Cuttack and Bhubaneswar – experienced sizzling heat today as the mercury soared to 41.4 degrees in the two cities.
As per the IMD, Bhubaneswar, temperature rose to 41.8 degrees in Hirakuda and Rourkela while it was 41.7 degrees in Sambalpur followed by 41.6 degrees in Bhubaneswar and Chandbali. Balasore recorded 40. 6 degrees.
