KGF Chapter 2 starring Rocking Star Yash as Rocky Bhai is driving movie lovers crazy. Breaking several records, this yet to be released Kannada movie has set several benchmarks in the Indian film industry as well as broken several global records. Since the day-one revelation of its characters and inclusion of Bollywood actors like Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon, the sequel of KGF Chapter 1 has earned much appreciation.
Even recently, the addition of popular actor Prakash Raj in the sequel KGF 2 raised the excitement among fans. However, without any hints of his character in the movie, fans have been speculating about his role.
Rumour mills were abuzz that actor Prakash Raj will replace Anant Nag in KGF Chapter 2 as journalist Anand Ingalagi since the news of inclusion of Prakash in the high-octane action movie surfaced along with his look. However, director Prashanth Neel cleared the air that Prakash won't be replacing Anant Nag in KGF 2.

KGF director Prashanth on Friday spilled the beans about Prakash's character in the movie. He will be portraying the character of Vijayendra Ingalgi. Prashanth took to social media to put a sticker on the mouths of rumour mongers. On Prakash Raj's birthday, Prashanth shared a creative newspaper grab with 'KGF Times' as the masthead. He captioned the post: "A jewel to the Film Fraternity!! Wishing @prakashraaj sir a very Happy Birthday #Vijayendraingalgi in #KGFChapter2."
The newspaper grab shows three columns. The top column news runs with the headline-- Vijayendra Ingalgi celebrates his birthday today!! The second column displays: How connected is he to the story of El Dorado? While the third column announces: "Is he a Skeptic or A Believer?"

Now speculations are rife if Prakash's character Vijayendra will bring the twist to the story and shall it be in support of the "Biggest Criminal Of India"- Rocky Bhai or will he be responsible in bringing down his reign and his KGF empire.

It is either the director or the makers who will reveal more about his character with time before the release of KGF Chapter 2, else fans have to wait to learn about Prakash's character after watching the movie.
However, the inclusion of Prakash in the high-octane action movie is much appreciated by movie lovers. The actor is celebrating his 56th birthday and fans are quite excited with the updates on Prakash's character in KGF Chapter 2.

KGF Chapter 2 release date is scheduled on July 16 this year.
