Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday pledged that his government will act against any Pakistani national found involved in the suicide bombing in Jammu and Kashmir if India provided "actionable intelligence".
In a nationwide broadcast, Khan also said that Pakistan will have no option but to retaliate if India mounted a military strike in the wake of the February 14 suicide bombing in Pulwama that killed 40 CRPF troopers.
"If you (Indian govt) thinks you will attack us and we will not think of retaliating, we will retaliate. We all know starting a war is in the hands of humans, where it will lead us only God knows. This issue should be solved through dialogue," the Pakistan PM said.
Imran added: "It is in our interest that nobody from our soil spreads violence. I want to tell Indian govt that we will take action if evidence is found against anyone from Pakistan."
