A shocking video from Dehradun has gone viral, showing a group of men performing reckless bike and car stunts on the rooftop of a mall. The clip captured vehicles zooming at high speed, engines roaring, and smoke filling the air as riders carried out dangerous burnouts, all while onlookers filmed the drama.
Police Swing Into Action
The video quickly caught the attention of Uttarakhand Police, who rushed to the spot. Authorities seized the vehicles and issued challans against those involved. Strict action wasn’t limited to the riders, penalties were also slapped on the mall management for allowing the incident to occur.
In total, ten organisers and five mall staff members faced consequences. Officials warned that any repeat of such stunts would lead to tougher legal measures.
‘Not Just Reckless, But Dangerous’
“This kind of behaviour is not only risky for the stunt riders but also poses a serious threat to public safety. We will not tolerate it,” a police officer told India Today.
Mall Denies Permission for Stunts
The mall management clarified that the rooftop was meant for parking only. They claimed the group had booked the space for a lunch programme at a café, but went ahead and performed stunts without authorisation.
A Growing Trend
Officials pointed out that such incident have been on the rise. In May, several luxury cars were seized after a similar case of stunt-driving. Police have now made it clear: those seeking viral fame through dangerous rooftop stunts will face strict consequences.
