Washington: IMF Chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn doesn`t have immunity in the alleged sexual assault case for which he has been arrested and currently lodged in a New York jail, the IMF said today.

"The MD`s immunities are limited and are not applicable to this case," IMF spokesman, William Murray, said in a statement today.

Strauss-Kahn who was arrested on Sunday and charged with attempted rape and sexual assault on a hotel maid, after being pulled out from a Paris-bound airplane was denied bail yesterday.
